TWO "OFFICE"-RELATED BOARD GAMES ARE COMING OUT . . . AND THE RELEASE PARTY IS BEING HELD IN SCRANTON:
Attention fans of "The Office": Two new "Office"-related board games will hit stores at the end of this month . . . but if (for some reason) you can't wait that long, you can head to Scranton, Pennsylvania, in a few weeks to attend the official release party.
--On Saturday, July 19th, the city of Scranton . . . (--the fictional home of "The Office") . . . will be holding a special event to commemorate the release of the games.
--It's called The Office Games . . . and it'll be hosted by "Office" producer (slash) writer (slash) star MINDY KALING . . . (--who plays Kelly on the show.)
--The "Office"-themed nonsense will include . . . a 2K Fun Run, an 'Office' trivia challenge, a Dwight Schrute-inspired beet-eating contest, and an autograph session. (--There's no word if any other "Office" stars will be there.)
--One of the new games is a DVD board game . . . and the other is some sort of a trivia game. Both games are scheduled to hit stores nationwide on July 30th.
