What a fun day at the zoo for a great cause!

Look at this crowd! We all got up early to walk at the zoo and help raise money for the Make a wish foundation of northeast Ohio. Below is a Make a wish child, Gavin and Make a wish development officer Kim Mantia cuttting the ribbon to start the walk.

Here's my team for "Walk for wishes" to benefit the Make a wish foundation of Northeast Ohio on Sat., July 21st! This is their 16th year for the walk and it was started by my friend Katie Dolesh, who unfortunately passed away, but Katie's spirit was there for her Make a wish kids. Denise Dufala from channel 19 introduced me to Katie years ago and the organization has been close to our hearts ever since. Denise does an unbelievable amount of work for the Make a wish foundation and I was thrilled to be a part of it this year! It was held at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and I must tell you, it's been a while since I've been to the zoo and it is so cool! Check out my nieces Jodi and Carly at the "Touch" exhibit. They got a thrill out of touching the stingray and shark! It was a totally awesome day! Thanks to all who made this their most successful year to date! There was close to 1,900 people attending and Make a Wish collected around $160,000!

We all got a chance to meet Denise and Ed's new addition, James. He's five months old and what a looker he is!
